Where is the improvement for making medicine here?
The big 3 auto manufacturers based in Detroit are Ford, GM, and Fiat-Chrysler. Acura, Honda, Toyota, BMW, and Subaru all make cars right here on U.S. soil. The US is positioned perfectly for dramatically increasing its manufacturing sector. It has solid road networks, deep water ports, and a tech sector that sets the industry standard. Moving operations overseas for minimal cost savings in the immediate future, and these savings are doubtful, will not help these companies in the long term. The Lego Group is constructing a $1 billion factory outside of Richmond, VA. A $40 billion semiconductor plant is being built in Phoenix, AZ. A $500 million protein plant is being built in OH.
