Hybrid work schedules, in a new Pew study, are the preferred choice for 41% of working Americans.  Seeking a balance between personal and professional responsibilities was the overwhelming reason for this choice.  It is important to note that respondents did not say they want to completely avoid being in an office.  Time spent on encouraging employers to override the concerns of their staff and force employees to return immediately is time wasted.  The labor market is tough; companies cannot afford to risk losing their top talent.  Brokers and developers should partner with companies to find leases the reflect their need for office space for 50% of the week.  Generational shifts are taking place in the labor market.  Millions of Baby Boomers are retiring each year.  A Pew study on Millennials found their highest two priorities in life were being good parents (52%) and having a successful marriage (30%).  Having lots of free time, and a high paying career, were at the bottom of the list (15% for each).  The opportunities for brokers abound as Millennials take an increasingly large share of the work force.
