Align

Executives see a problem, from their level, and allocate resources to solve it.  What happens to their solution if the view from lower levels on the organizational chart paint a different picture?  The proposed "solution" creates more work and more stress.  The original root cause of the problem is never solved.  Employees remain dissatisfied and top talent starts to leave with increasing frequency.  Alignment is not a statement from the highest levels telling an organization this is their problem.  Alignment means the highest levels of the team have taken the time to understand the view of a problem from all perspectives, and ensure everybody has the same frame of reference moving forward.  How does your organization ensure alignment across each level of the organizational chart?
